Erasmus Days and the EUxFUTURE project

Every October, organisations, schools, youth groups, and institutions across Europe take part in the Erasmus Days — a Europe-wide celebration of learning mobility, cooperation, and participation. The initiative brings together thousands of events organised in different countries, highlighting the impact of Erasmus+ on individuals, communities, and European society as a whole.

This year the program series taking place between the 13th and the 18th October.

During the Erasmus Days, activities range from local workshops and discussions to public events, exhibitions, and experience-sharing sessions. The common goal is to make European cooperation visible at local level and to show how EU programmes contribute to education, youth engagement, and active citizenship.

To support this collective effort, a dedicated platform allows anyone to explore events taking place across Europe. Through the official Erasmus Days website, visitors can discover initiatives organised in different countries and see how European values are reflected in diverse local contexts.

Erasmus Days and the EUxFUTURE project

Although EUxFUTURE is implemented under the CERV programme, it shares key values with the Erasmus Days initiative. Both emphasise participation, dialogue, and learning beyond formal education. By creating spaces for intergenerational exchange, storytelling, and reflection on Europe’s past and future, EUxFUTURE contributes to the same broader objective: strengthening citizens’ connection to Europe through lived experience.

Erasmus Days invite everyone to discover how European cooperation comes to life at local level.
