EUxFUTURE Mural Video Launch: Five Countries, One Shared Visual Story

The EUxFUTURE project has reached another important milestone: the launch of the common video presenting the participatory mural creation process across the partner countries.

Throughout the project, partners in Spain, France, Hungary, Italy, and Portugal worked with local communities, young people, artists, and educators to transform key moments of European history into public artworks. Each mural was created in a different local context, but all of them shared the same purpose: to make Europe’s common history visible, accessible, and open to discussion.

The video brings together these local creative processes, from preparation and artistic work to community participation. It shows how public art can become more than a visual outcome: a space for learning, cooperation, and reflection on Europe’s past and future.
